Contacting the Southfields Group Practice

The way you contact the practice has changed. You should now access the Practice website and complete the online contact and Clinical query form. This will enable us to treat all of our patients quicker and you will no longer need to call at eight o’clock in the morning.

Southfields Group Practice (SGP) Patient Focus Group Satisfaction Survey 2023

In January 2018 the PFG carried out a patient satisfaction survey of 256 patients. The patients were self-selected at various SGP surgery sessions over several weeks. It was agreed in 2023 that the PFG would carry out a similar follow-up survey to see if patient concerns had changed, particularly in the light of the recent COVID pandemic.

NHS winter flu and covid vaccine

The adult covid and flu vaccination programmes had been due to start in October to maximise protection over the winter months, but now those most at risk including adult care home residents will be vaccinated from 11 September.

New Access Model Launches on 2nd October

This requires us to obtain more detailed information and may take longer than normal. However, to avoid waiting on the phone, you can access us online. All clinical enquiries will go directly to the GP who will assess the information on the same day. The new system will make the way we help our patients faster and better.

When you think you need A&E, contact NHS 111 by phone or online. NHS 111 is free and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You answer questions about your symptoms on the website, or by speaking to a fully trained adviser on the phone.

COVID-19 Spring Vaccination Programme

In February, the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advised a spring dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as a precaution to those at extremely high risk, most of whom received their first booster around 6 months ago.
