Nurses & Healthcare Assistants (HCA)

Practice Nurses

The Practice Nurses offer a comprehensive range of nursing procedures. Alongside general nursing services such as ear syringing, vaccinations, wound dressing and health screening clinics, they offer a range of more specialised clinic appointments, for example: asthma, diabetes, coronary heart disease, smears and family planning.

The Practice also runs a full travel clinic service where patients can be given travel advice, vaccinations (there is a charge for some) and any travel certificates that may be required.

We are also a registered yellow fever vaccination centre.

The Practice Nurses are:

Iris Javaid – Clinical Lead Nursing & HCA Team. Covers all areas of practice nursing. Nurse Prescriber. Registered to fit coils and implants.

Adele Tombleson – covers all areas of practice nursing.

Sally Pullen – Dressings and wound care.

Healthcare Assistants

HCA’s work alongside the nursing team providing services such a blood sampling, ear syringing, ECG’s, blood pressure monitoring, simple dressings, anticoagulation monitoring, new patient checks and NHS healthchecks.

The HCA’s are:

Kerry Reilly – who undertakes all of the procedures above.

Maria Losa Serna – who is our phlebotomist taking blood samples at the surgery every weekday morning by appointment.
