Flu Season 2020/2021

All patients who are eligible for a flu vaccination will be sent an invitation during September and October 2020.

When attending the practice a face covering must be worn and social distancing rules must be adhered to at all times.

Please note, your local pharmacist can also give you the flu vaccination free of charge if you are eligible and 18 years old or over

Any patient who is housebound and requires a flu vaccination should inform the practice and a home visit will be arranged.

Please note that people in the 50-64 year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December. No appointments will be offered for this age group until then, and at that point will be subject to vaccine supply. This is nationally directed – not the decision of the practice – and is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first.  If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups eligible for the flu vaccination - for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu - you will be invited earlier.

Online booking of appointments has been suspended on advice from NHS England. This is because we need to triage all appointments to mitigate the risks associated with potentially infected patients attending the Practice.

To book an appointment please telephone the surgery on 020 8875 5429. Alternatively you can use our DoctorLink Service.

Important Care Data Information!

Information about you and the care you receive is shared, in a secure system, by healthcare staff to support your treatment and care.

It is important that we, the NHS, can use this information to plan and improve services for all patients. We would like to link information from all the different places where you receive care, such as your GP, hospital and community service, to help us provide a full picture. This will allow us to compare the care you received in one area against the care you received in another, so we can see what has worked best.

Information such as your postcode and NHS number, but not your name, will be used to link your records in a secure system, so your identity is protected. Information which does not reveal your identity can then be used by others, such as researchers and those planning health services, to make sure we provide the best care possible for everyone.

How your information is used and shared is controlled by law and strict rules are in place to protect your privacy.

We need to make sure that you know this is happening and the choices you have.

Please take time to read these documents below. You need to make a choice.
